It Just Takes One
It just takes one person to make all the difference in my world. If I am feeling lonely and unloved, it only takes one person showing how much they care, to make me believe in the possibilities. Sometimes it only takes one person being unkind to someone else, to boil my anger beyond acceptable. But it only takes one to tame it.
It take just one moment to stop and look around. To see the truth in what I have, the good and the bad, and then decide to move forward. Sometimes, in just the span of a well thought breath, all perspective can shift. But it can be in that breath that hope is found or lost.
It takes just one thought to direct the focus of existence. Direct and complete. With purpose and forethought, decisions made in a moment, can be enough to rule my world. Sometimes what is in the mind, is all that really matters. It what you use to make your choices.
It takes just once choice: to move toward a better tomorrow. Today gives us what it does. We accept it and move on, because we know we have done with today, the best for each new tomorrow.
Each moment need not be blissful to be of great value over-all. Treasure what you get for what it is. Rejoice in the things that make you happy. Learn from the things that make you sad. It just takes one moment of thought, to direct you to a better tomorrow.
